Security
When you register on a Cambridge University Press Australia and New Zealand site, we collect and store your details such as, your full name, invoice & delivery addresses, phone & fax numbers, email address, and password. When placing an order we collect your credit card details, such as, card type, number, expiry date and card holder name. We do not, however, make any of these details available to any third parties.
When accessing any of your account details, it is all through the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This is a protocol used for transmitting private information via the Internet, where it creates a secure connection between a client and a server.
You will notice that you are on an SSL page when the URL starts with https instead of http, and the secure lock is displayed.
This lock can be found:
- Internet Explorer/Firefox = at the base of your web-browser
- Safari = top-right corner
We may contact you on occasion about new Cambridge University Press products or services we think might be of interest to you. If you do not want to hear from us, please email customer service.
We may share your information with associated Cambridge University Press branches. Please email customer service if you do not want us to do so.
